5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services through this website unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
If we agree to work with a person under 18, a parent or legal guardian may be required to book, consent, and/or attend.
6. Booking and payment
All prices are shown on the website or at checkout.
Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless we clearly state otherwise.
We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect a booking already confirmed and paid for.
You are responsible for providing accurate booking, billing, and contact information.
7. One-to-one sessions
One-to-one sessions are private spiritual guidance sessions held online via Zoom and, where available, in person.
A one-to-one booking reserves time specifically for you.
You are responsible for:
arriving on time
having a stable internet connection for online sessions
being in a quiet and appropriate setting
making your own notes or recording, where permitted, for personal use only
We may refuse or end a session if your behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, or otherwise inappropriate.
8. The Benjamin Circle
The Benjamin Circle is an ongoing subscription-based group offering.
By joining the Circle, you understand and agree that:
it is a recurring subscription unless and until cancelled
session dates and times may change from time to time with reasonable notice
live attendance is your responsibility
group experiences are shared spaces and cannot be treated as fully confidential in the way a private one-to-one conversation might be
respectful conduct is required at all times
We may remove any participant from a live group or cancel membership for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms. Where appropriate, we may do so without refund.
9. Technology and access
For online services, you are responsible for having the technology, internet access, device, and environment needed to participate.
We are not responsible for service failures caused by your equipment, software, connectivity, local technical issues, or your failure to join on time.
If a session is materially disrupted because of a problem on our side, we will use reasonable efforts to reschedule, extend, credit, or refund as appropriate.
10. Recordings and use of materials
Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing:
one-to-one sessions may be recorded by you for your personal use only
group sessions may not be recorded, shared, reproduced, uploaded, published, or distributed without our prior written permission and the consent of all participants whose voice, image, or personal contributions are captured
all recordings, written materials, website copy, branding, and program content remain our intellectual property
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, edit, train AI models on, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
11. Confidentiality and privacy
We will treat your information with care and respect.
However:
email, internet, and third-party platforms such as Zoom are not completely risk-free
group sessions involve other participants, so complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed
anything you voluntarily share in a group may be heard by others
Our handling of personal data is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which should be read alongside these Terms.
12. Testimonials and personal experiences
Any testimonials or personal accounts on this website reflect individual experiences.
They do not guarantee that you or anyone else will have the same result or experience.
13. Your responsibility
You remain responsible for your own choices, interpretation, actions, and wellbeing.
You agree not to use our services as a substitute for your own judgment or for appropriate professional care.
You agree to take personal responsibility for how you use the information, reflection, or guidance offered.
14. Right to refuse service
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, reschedule, or terminate services where reasonably necessary, including where:
your behaviour is abusive, unsafe, threatening, or repeatedly disruptive
you seek services that are outside the scope of what we offer
we believe participation is not appropriate for you at that time
a session cannot proceed safely or practically
Where this happens, we will act reasonably and in good faith.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including loss of opportunity, income, goodwill, data, or expected benefit arising out of your use of this website or our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay, interruption, or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including illness, internet failure, utility outage, platform failure, travel disruption, severe weather, government restriction, or similar events.
Where possible, we will reschedule or provide a fair alternative.
17. Complaints
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at [insert support email/contact page].
We will try to resolve concerns fairly, directly, and in good faith.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version published on the website at the time of your booking or purchase will apply to that booking or purchase unless a change is required by law.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
If you are a consumer, you will also retain the benefit of any mandatory rights available to you under the consumer laws of your country of residence where applicable.
Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
2) Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy
We aim to keep this policy clear, fair, and easy to use.
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
1. General
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us using the details above.
Your cancellation is effective when we receive your clear notice.
Refunds, where due, will be made to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
2. UK consumer cooling-off rights
If you are a consumer purchasing online, by phone, or otherwise at a distance, you may have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right.
For service-based offerings, that period usually begins the day after the contract is made.
If you ask us to begin supplying the service during that 14-day period, and we do so, we may charge you a proportionate amount for the services supplied up to cancellation.
If a service has been fully performed during that period after your express request for immediate performance, your cancellation right may end as permitted by law.
3. One-to-one sessions
3.1 Rescheduling
You may reschedule a one-to-one session once without charge if you give at least 48 hours’ notice.
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice is at our discretion.
3.2 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session
If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled one-to-one session, you may choose either:
a full refund, or
a credit toward a rescheduled session
3.3 Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, no refund will usually be given.
We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer, reschedule, or partial credit in cases of genuine emergency.
3.4 No-shows
If you do not attend a scheduled session and have not contacted us in advance, the session will be treated as used and is non-refundable.
3.5 If we need to reschedule
If we need to reschedule your session, we will offer you a new date or a full refund.
4. The Benjamin Circle subscription
4.1 Subscription billing
The Benjamin Circle is a recurring monthly subscription.
Your subscription will continue and renew automatically until you cancel.
4.2 How to cancel
You may cancel at any time before your next billing date.
If you cancel before the next billing date, your subscription will not renew, and you will retain access until the end of the current paid billing period.
4.3 Pro-rated refunds
We do not usually offer pro-rated or partial refunds for:
unused time remaining in a billing cycle
missed live sessions
inability to attend a session you were eligible to attend
changes in your personal availability or time zone circumstances
This is because your subscription reserves your place in an ongoing live offering and supports the continuity of the group container.
4.4 Cooling-off period for new Circle memberships
If you are a consumer and you join the Circle online, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right.
However, by joining, you expressly request that we begin supplying the subscription immediately, including onboarding communications, administration, and access to upcoming live sessions.
If you cancel within the 14-day statutory period after supply has begun, we may deduct an amount proportionate to the services already supplied.
4.5 If we materially change or cancel the Circle
If we cancel the Circle entirely or make a material change that significantly reduces what is being offered, we may offer a reasonable credit, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances.
5. Live events and special workshops
Unless a separate event policy states otherwise:
cancellations made 7 or more days before the event may receive a refund less any non-recoverable third-party payment processing or venue costs
cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event are usually non-refundable
tickets may be transferable if we agree in writing before the event
if we cancel an event, we will offer a transfer, credit, or refund
6. Hardship and discretion
We want this work to remain humane.
Where genuine hardship, illness, bereavement, or exceptional circumstances apply, we may make reasonable exceptions at our discretion.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first and we will try to resolve the issue promptly.
8. Refund timing
Where a refund is approved, we aim to process it within 14 days.
Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
